Ashley's 7

I can not believe that my baby girl is 7 years old! Ashley is such a blessing in my life. I call her my little mama because of what a big help she is. She is always willing to help with her little brother's and does a really good job of it. Ashley loves learning and really understands most everything that we explain to her. Her little mind never stops working and it has happened more than once that she has proved her mom wrong on several things. I cherish every minute of her being little. It seems like the world would have them grow up over night. The other day I was in a store to buy her a shirt and the shirt size read 6 (tween). Is it me or when did age 6 become a tween? I am determined to keep my little girl, little as long as I can. I love her and am so proud of the little person that she is!!

Our new tradition is to decorate the kids rooms on their birthdays, so that when they wake up they have a little surprise. She was very surprised and loved it!!!

We surprised her and Ethan by taking them to see High School Musical 3. They thought we were going to run errands, but we ended up at the theater and they loved it!!! We even got them HSM shirts to wear and of course popcorn and nachos to eat!!!

We finished the day with a little family party and some ice cream. She loved all of her presents, especially her American Girl Doll bed from grandma and grandpa Watkins. Now it is on to her friends party on Saturday. They get to have a party every other year and this is party year.

Which dolls did she get? Charlie has Kit, Emily has Emily, and Lily is getting Ruthie. The coolest part is that the Mall of America is getting an American Girl store like the ones in Chicago and New York, so, the day after Christmas we're going to take the girls there for lunch with their dolls. It's so cool :)
We hope Ashley had a great birthday. And yes, they grow so fast. Charlie is already in YW and Em, who was born when you and Jer were dating turns 9 in January. Crazy!

So neat, Birthday decorations in their room.
I laughted when you told me how you surprised them by saying you were going to "Old Navy". Ashley didn't want to go. It made me remember my little one that didn't like going to "Fabric KIng."
