Soccer Time

Ashley and Ethan started soccer yesterday. This is their 2nd year playing and they are so much fun to watch. They take after their mom and get tired and hot about 2 minutes into it. Jeremy is their coach this year, so it was tons of fun watching him rally 10 kids all while having to keep his 2 in check with them constantly saying "Daddy, I'm hot", "Daddy I'm thirsty", "Daddy my shoes hurt,"etc.., etc.., etc.., needless to say I spent the whole time trying not to laugh hysterically on the side lines. All of that aside he did a great job on his first day of being a coach, and the kids really do love it.

Ethan and Ashley all set to go.

Jeremy coaching the kids, he did great! I was very impressed.

Ethan getting ready to kick, he does great at the kicking and blocking. He is not too big a fan of the running.

Hayden was very sad that he was not allowed to play, all he wanted was his daddy.

I eventually won him over with the bribe of ice cream after practice if he would come and sit with me.

Brice's version of soccer, he isn't using his hands after all, no one said you couldn't use your mouth.

He was very patient a sat in his stroller most of the time, even though it was hot out.

Fun With a Swing

This Saturday was such a pretty day, we spent all morning outside playing with the kids and enjoying the weather. Jeremy hung a swing from a tree for the kids, and they had so much fun swinging off of the rocks and through the air.

Ashley getting ready to jump off. She is a little nervous and takes her time.

Ethan swinging in the air, he is fearless and loves every minute of it.

Even Jeremy got in on some of the action. He said he had to try it out to make sure that it was safe for the kids, I think he is just a big kid himself and wanted to have some fun.

Hayden hanging on for dear life. He loved it and wanted to do it over and over.

My cute Brice, he is always so happy. He loved being outside watching his brothers and sister.

When we moved into the house all of the rocks were in a clump, we finally got someone to come and move them, so that we can now landscape our side yard!!! We were very excited finding someone to move boulders in not an easy task..

Ashley and Hayden playing on top of one of the rocks.

Dinosaurs

Ethan had a dinosaur themed birthday this year. The kids had so much fun hunting dinosaur eggs and bones, painting their own little dinosaur figures, and being chased by T-Rex (Jeremy). They even got to crack open giant dinosaur eggs to find a surprise. Our back yard was the perfect place for this because of our huge boulders/rocks that are in our side yard. We told the kids that Dino's use to live here and that these were left over from when they roamed the earth, the love it and played on them forever looking for traces of Dinosaurs. We had tons of fun!!!

All of the kids singing happy birthday. Check out the T-Rex foot prints on the ground.

Brice during the party surrounded by a jungle of dinosaurs.

Ethan and some of his friends. The little girl sitting next to him is Emma, they are smitten with each other and it is very cute to watch.

All of the kids roaring like Dinosaurs, aren't you scared!!!

One Year in Our Home

It is official, we have now lived in our house for a year, and been in the Carolina's for 18 months. It seems crazy that it has been that long since we left Florida. I don't have too many pictures of our old house, and I wish I did. So I thought it would be nice to put some pictures of our house on so that we can always remember what it was like at this time in our lives.
